Congratulate Brittany Jop and her steer, Goose, for their success at the Big E! Brittany and Goose placed 3rd in a class of medium weight steers, and they made the overall drive for showmanship out of 70+ exhibitors! She also placed 9th in the 4H livestock Judging class out of over 70 people and helped her team earn second overall! Goose later sold for a whopping $7.25 per pound! Bristol Aggie is thrilled to share that our Equine Science concentration has received a significant donation of equine equipment — including jump standards, grooming tools, farm equipment and more!
This incredible donation directly enhances student learning by:
-Providing hands-on experience with industry-standard equipment
-Supporting safe, practical riding and horse care lessons
-Expanding opportunities for skill-building in equine science classes
-Preparing students for real-world careers in the equine industry
With this $16,000 donation, our students gain even greater access to the tools they need to succeed — both in the classroom and in the barn.
