Our Environmental Conservation Department just received new horseshoe crabs! Pictured are students preparing to welcome them to our labs, weighing and measuring each individual to monitor growth over time. These horseshoe crabs will be part of the pilot headstart program in order to help maintain the population of this crucial species. #BAPride #CultivatingExcellence







🚜🌽 This past Saturday, 3 members of the New England Antique Tractor and Truck Association began plowing our 25-acre corn field. On Tuesday, they returned with 6 more members and tractors, finishing the job with teamwork and commitment!

On Tuesday, our Veterinary Science and Laboratory Animal Technology students toured UMass Amherst at the Mt. Ida campus and got to look at their veterinary technology center.
