Application Process

Welcome

Bristol County Agricultural High School is a public high school serving all Bristol County residents and the surrounding communities.

Any eighth or ninth-grade student who is a resident of Bristol County and anticipates being promoted to the next grade by their local school district is eligible to apply for fall admission or admission during the school year provided that space is available. All applicants will be evaluated using the criteria contained in Bristol Aggie's admission policy. Admission of out-of-county students will be entirely dependent upon the applicant’s ranking.

Transfer students from other vocational and agricultural technical schools are eligible to apply for fall admission to grades 9-10 at BCAHS provided they expect to be promoted to the grade they seek to enter by their current school. Transfer students will be evaluated using the criteria contained in our Admission Policy.

We offer tours regularly through the school year. You can visit this page to see when some of our upcoming tours are scheduled. We offer a variety of school day, afternoon, and weekend tours to try to accommodate all types of schedules. You can also view a video tour of our programs here.

Application Process

Complete An Application

Applications are open to students in 8th- and 9th-grade. The application only takes a few minutes, and gives us permission to contact your current school for your records.

Interview

The Interview is a required step in the application process. Depending on what school you go to, we might conduct interviews there. Otherwise, we'll reach out to you to schedule a time.

We will send you the interview questions ahead of time. The questions are not a test, we just want to get to know more about you and why you are interested in Bristol Aggie! Take a deep breath, and be yourself.

Recommendation

The only other thing you need to do is choose someone to fill out your recommendation form. You can choose one person from your middle school to fill it out for you (math teacher, guidance counselor, basketball coach, chorus director, etc.) It's up to you! We will send you the form directly and you can pass it along to whomever you choose.

Hearing back from us

Once you've applied and had your interview, you can login to your account to track the progress of your application but, no matter what, you'll get a letter in the mail from us with the results of your application. We appreciate your patience with this process! If you have questions about your application, you can email admissions@bcahs.com and we'll be happy to help you.
