My Other Work Experience

I spent several years working in both small and large animal veterinary medicine. I spent some time working in both general practice and emergency veterinary medicine. I enjoyed the routine of general practice, but loved the fast pace of emergency medicine. My time spent in large animal medicine was alongside a traveling veterinarian who worked with just about every type of large animal. We spent long days traveling around the state, performing routine care, emergency care, and everything in between. I've also worked in animal management and care settings with small ruminants, poultry, and equine. Aside from Bristol Aggie, my favorite work of all was during my time in college, when I worked as a teaching assistant in the animal science department, where I assisted in teaching intro to animal science and sheep management courses to fellow college students.

My Hobbies and Passions

I love spending time outdoors - whether it be with my goats and chickens, planting in my flower and vegetable gardens, going for a walk, or playing a round of golf. I have a passion for producing products at home that can be shared with my community, whether it be fresh eggs, goat cheese, vegetables, or a jar of fresh cut flowers. I also have a passion for horseback riding and enjoy both leisurely rides as well as participating in western competitions. When I have free time, I may sit down and read a good book or do some crafting.
