Bristol County Agricultural High School is a public high school serving all Bristol County residents.
Any eighth, ninth or tenth grade student who is a resident of Bristol County who expects to be promoted to the grade they seek to enter by his/her local school district is eligible to apply for fall admission or admission during the school year provided that space is available. Resident students will be evaluated using the criteria contained in this admission policy. Priority for admission will be given to Bristol County residents (students from Acushnet, Attleboro, Berkley, Dartmouth, Dighton, Easton, Fairhaven, Fall River, Freetown, Mansfield, New Bedford, North Attleboro, Norton, Raynham, Rehoboth, Seekonk, Somerset, Swansea, Taunton, and Westport). Students who are not residents of Bristol County are eligible to apply and will be evaluated using the same criteria as in-district applicants. Out of county residents are accepted, but must receive written approval from the Superintendent of their sending district prior to April 1st of the preceding school year.

October through December:  The Admissions Coordinator will present an overview of the offerings available at Bristol County Agricultural High School to prospective students and families. Presentations may be held at your local middle school, or by registering for a tour of the Bristol Aggie campus. On-campus tour dates are available, below.

January through March:  An Interview will be conducted by our Admissions Coordinator either virtually, or at your school.

March through April:  Decision letters will be sent to all applicants. Students who have completed the full application process by March 1 will be included in the first round of acceptance decisions.

April through June:  Placement testing for accepted students will be held at Bristol Aggie.

August:  Freshman Academy and Orientation will take place prior to the start of school.

Step 2: Complete an Application

As part of the application process, prospective 9th grade students must submit the following information:

  • Official Report Cards (7th & 8th Grade)
  • Detailed Attendance Reports (7th & 8th Grade)
  • Detailed Conduct Reports (7th & 8th Grade)
  • Guidance Counselor Recommendation
  • Two (2) additional letters of recommendation (optional)
  • Upon receipt of this information, prospective students must schedule an interview prior to March 1st for consideration of timely acceptance.

Step 3: Interview

The Interview is a required step in the application process. Please schedule your interview by calling (508) 669-6744 Ext 111 or email at least three weeks in advance to secure the date and time of your choice. We encourage all applicants to interview on campus.

Step 4: Testing

Placement Testing for Accepted students will be held at the school in April, May, and June.
